Victor Yanukovich: Land reform must take into account interests of owners of shares
President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich - April 20, 2013:
The main issue of land reform is to guarantee that the interests of owners of land shares are taken into account. It was stated by the President in the course of his conversation with citizens of Novi Petrivtsi.
“The main issue is to ensure that the interests of owners of land shares are not affected,” Viktor Yanukovych emphasized.
Viktor Yanukovych stressed that land reform was frozen due to lack of consensus among different political forces.
At the same time, he noted that land cadaster had already begun functioning and keeping records of land. “We are gradually moving forward,” the President said.
According to the Head of State, the functioning of Land Bank where owners of land shares can receive dividends is another important issue. “The land will never become cheaper,” he noted.
