Last changes:

Some results of land and agrarian reforms in Ukraine


MyLand - 22/06/2011:


State Agency of Land Resources of Ukraine reported on June 16, 2011, that in the course of agrarian and land reforms there have taken place teh following changes in farm structures and land relations:

1) over 11.9 thousand farm structures went through reform and reorganization. New 34.8 thousand farm structures "of market type" emerged. They became users and owners of 18.8 million ha of arable land;

2) 6.9 million citizens of Ukraine got right to a land share. 6.8 million out of them acquired certificates to a land share. 6.5 million converted their certiticates into land titles (96%);

3) Citizens concluded 4.3 million contracts for lease of agricultural land. The total area of land leased out to farm structures under the said contracts makes up 17.3 million ha;

4) The aggregate sum of ground rent due under effective contracts amounts to UAH 5.5 billion. The average annual rent makes up UAH 316.2 per ha.
