President expects a lot from completion of land reform

Today at working meeting in Vinnytsya President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich talked about land reform. He said that he hoped that the Parliament would consider all necesary draft laws in September. He said that "yesterday we had parctically agreed upon concept of land reform and on necessary draft laws. I hope that in the nearest future these documents will be considered, there will be public debates in all regions of Ukraine". President said that every citizen shall have the right to express his opinion. He said that public debates will take place in July - August, and in Septemeber necessary laws would be passed by the Parliament.
President said that land reform should adjust issues of lease and sale of land. "This reform will give an opportunity to owners of land shares, i.e. about 6,5 million persons, to get fair price for lease of land, and in due time there will be an opportunity to sell land on certain conditions, as soon as these conditions are worded and agreed upon. But obnly here, inside the country".
President of Ukraine also expressed his confidence that land reform will eliminate corruption in land issue, create conditions for effective use of agricultural land and improve production in rural areas. This reform shall also restore social infrastructure of Ukrainian country-side. "We will lay such incentives into this reform that will stimulate agrarian sector of the economy", said the President.
