Workshop on Cadastral and real estate registration systems: economic information for real estate markets in the UNECE region, Rome

 

Agenzia del Territorio has the pleasure to invite you to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Working Party on Land Administration international workshop on Cadastral and real estate registration systems: economic information for real estate markets in the UNECE region , that will be held on the 5 and 6 May 2011 in Rome, at the Conference Hall of the Hadrian’s Temple, Piazza di Pietra. The workshop languages will be English and Italian.
Goals

The main goal of the workshop will be to analyze the potential of government and private initiatives to produce, manage and share economic knowledge on real estate based on different national experiences. Participants will be encouraged to discuss the role of cadastral and real estate registration systems and their influence on the development of a well functioning housing market.

Venue

The Hadrian's Temple in Rome The workshop venue is the Hadrian’s Temple in Rome, built in 145 a.C. in honour of the emperor Hadrian, deified after his death by his son and heir Antoninus Pius. The remains of the right side front, including 11 Corinthian columns 15 meters high and the ancient cornice, were included in a XVII century building, raised by Carlo and Francesco Fontana. This building, originally used as Vatican customs, in 1879 became the seat of the Chamber of Commerce and Stock Exchange.
